The straight, green, downy pods of this variety are intermediate in length and width, and are best eaten when under 5" long. Yummy Okra - a Family Fave
by Sal
Yummy and great producer! We live in Zone 9 - it gets HOT here in summertime. Okra thrives in the Texas heat. These plants need to be watered regularly if it doesn't rain much, but that is to be expected. We grow these every year and look forwards to delicious okra all summer and into the fall. They keep producing until it gets cold.
