Best known of all the prairie flowers and the easiest to grow. A single plant can produce hundreds of blooms over the summer and into the fall. Excellent cut flower with 6-10 days of vase life. Plants grow 2-3'.

Growing Instructions
Instructions - Sow seeds indoors just beneath surface of soil. Transplant outdoors when the danger of frost has passed. Likes poor soil lacking minerals, including sand and gravel. Stems can become weak if planted in good soil and may require staking.

classic & abundant pleasers

I bought a packet of seeds from you five years ago. These still reseed and come up in my garden in Northern California. Healthy and so cheerful! My favorite black-eyed susans. I like this classic much better than the random varieties sold at nurseries.
