Item Details
A beet variety from Holland. Completely white sweet roots with delicious flavor. This beet never stains! For best color and to avoid green tops, blanch roots by hilling up with soil.

This variety works for:
- Fresh eating
- Steaming
- Boiling
- Baking
- Soup
- Pickling
Just like the red and purple varieties of beets, the Albino beet can be added to many dishes or featured on its own.
Try peeling and shredding the raw root over salads or combining the cooked and shredded root with horseradish to spread on a sandwich.
You may find dishes that are known for the traditional beet color, like pickled eggs and borscht, suffer from this variety's paler pigment.
