One of the unique varieties in Seed Savers Exchange’s okra collection. Ivory-green pods grow to 7" long on vigorous 6' tall plants. Tender when young, delicious flavor. Great producer at Heritage Farm.

Growing Instructions

Instructions - Sow seeds outdoors when the soil has warmed. Tolerant of heat and drought, but not of cold. Keep well picked for higher yields.

Can’t wait for these this summer!


Grew these last season. They and Burmese okra were standouts. They out produced the standards and were tender at a longer size. They shrugged off the drought and all disease and produced longer into cold weather than I expected. Delicious!

I love these.


These are delicious.
I eat a good portion raw when I pick. In my garden they are not reaching the 6 ft height and they don't produce quite as heavily as Clemson Spineless, but I will be sure to grow them again. A real treat.
