This English heirloom has been grown since the 1930s on Ireland Creek Farm in British Columbia. With superb flavor, the beans make a tasty, thick sauce when stewed. The stocky 24" plants produce abundantly and reliably.

  • Organic
  • Bush bean
  • Dry bean
  • Yellow to tan seeds
  • Abundant reliable production

This variety works for:

  • Baking
  • Soup

These beans liked to be cooked long and slow at low heat to keep their texture and flavor at it's peak. You can substitute these beans in any recipe calling for white or pinto beans such as soup or stew.

We recommend using them in a ham and bean soup or white bean stew. These beans produce an excellent thick sauce as they are being cooked.

Excellent producer!

We planted these beans this year, they were super prolific, and good eating as green beans, as well as dried.

Best Beans and Ham

I tried Ireland Creek Annie beans for the first time in 2019. Very hardy and prolific, produced enough to share with family. My dad says they made the best beans and ham that he has ever had... and he's from Tennessee so he knows about good beans and ham! I just cooked the last of my dried beans so I am reordering for 2021 garden.

A true winner

By far the most productive and best storing bean I have grown!
